The past is the past,
And you can't change that fact.
Quite easy to believe,
For it happens every act.
You may want to change direction,
But can't for it is too strong.
Even if the situation,
Is not where it belongs.
If it would go for left,
You would later go for right.
Before honest conversations,
Become unforgivable fights.
There are so many directions,
To pick from, but you...
Only have one chance.
And can only pick from few.
Then later decays to past.
And even though it had gone wrong,
You can never choose the inevitable.
For it is there where it belongs.
