Once upon a time

Once there were a lot of trees
Growing around us all
The horses still ran wild
They weren't kept in a stall
The birds were still free
They weren't kept in a cage
People before
Never wanted to see them age
The grass was still green
And the flowers would always bloom
The clouds were still white
And at rest was still the moon.

Thousands of years ago
When people still weren't here
Everything was still empty
And the sky was still clear
Nobody ruled the world
And life was still equal
I seems like today
Is all just a sequel
You can also see
That pollution's getting worse
It's like somehow
To have revenge they put a curse.

Dengue has been spreading
It's a loathsome disease
It's very hard to get rid of it
And it's really hard to ease
Since there's been lots of floods
And water all around
There are lots of sickly people
And children to be found
Everyone's been suffering
Of this very cause
A lot of people died
And there are lives
We've lost...

...It's that time of year

Thank you for the presents
The family and the joy
Thank you for the Christmas tree
And most of all the toys
Thank you for the happiness
And the wonderful times we've had
Thank you very much Jesus
You've made us very glad
Thank you for the smiles
All the laughs and joyful cheers
All of that's for you
And the whole world to hear.
